A Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you now just to give you thanks! Forgive me, Father, if I have been ungrateful lately. Forgive me for taking any blessings You have given me for granted. I no longer take Your gifts and blessings in vain but with full thanksgiving and praise.
Thank You, Father, for Your grace and unending mercy. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Thank You for being so good to me always. All good and perfect things come from You, God. And I thank You for each and every good and perfect thing You have placed in my life! Thank You for my life, health, home, family, possessions, luxuries, job(s), income(s), ____________________________________________ (List everything else you feel grateful for).
Thank You, God, that I am alive today. Thank You for the breath in my lungs. Thank You because I have everything that I need in Christ. Thank You for blessing me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies. Lord, I thank You for choosing me, loving me, favoring me, blessing me, and calling me Your own.
Help me to keep this gratefulness in my heart throughout the day and every day for the rest of my life. I love You, Jesus. I thank You for dying on the cross for me, so that I could live this life loving and giving thanks to You! You alone are worthy of the praise and glory in Jesus name. Amen.

For the LORD is a great God, And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
