Jesus is Our Prince of Peace
Our God is not a God of disorder, rushing, chaos, confusion, strife, disfunction or drama. He is our Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Maybe you are already used to seeing or experiencing chaos in your life that you have not yet surrendered the chaos to the Lord to receive His divine peace. Perhaps you have seen enough destruction and disorder in your life (or in your family’s lives) and you want to be free of it. You can have God’s peace at any point in your life. You simply need to invite God into your situation and He will pour out His Spirit and transform your atmospheres.
Where Does Disorder Come From?
The devil is the Father of Disorder and Chaos. He seeks to divide and destroy God’s plans for your life. You need to know which pathways are God’s will for you and which ones are detours that Satan puts in your way to derail you.
One way to know if the opportunities you come across are not from God is to discern whether you feel peace or stress and anxiety.
Matthew 12:25
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”
Learn to Walk in God’s Will
Stress is an open door to spiritual warfare! The enemy wants us to be in chaos and disorder because it keeps us from our divine calling. God has called us to have a sound mind and to prosper in all that we do.
Stress and rushing things will keep you from keeping a sound mind in Christ and possibly cause you to take wrong turns in your life. Never rush God’s plans for you. When the timing is right, your dreams and passions will come to life. Just listen and wait on the Lord and He alone will tell you when to move.
A sign that you are walking with God and in His will is Peace. Abide in His Presence day and night. Declare scriptures of peace throughout your day, in your home, in your car, even at work. Take the Word of God with you everywhere.
Prayer For Peace
Dear Lord Jesus,
I place myself under your authority, King Jesus. I cover myself with your precious blood and I declare total peace over my mind, heart and my soul. I renounce the spirits of fear and anxiety. I draw a blood line between me and these spirits. They will no longer have permission to rule me in any way. I belong to my Heavenly Father who has given me Spirits of courage, love and of a sound mind.
Surround me with your supernatural peace as with a shield. Fill my home and work environment with your peace. Help me to wait on you and listen for your voice. Holy Spirit, I invite you into my day and ask you to lead me down the right paths in God’s perfect timing. Open the right doors and help me to see them. Let your perfect will be done in my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
