Freedom From Isolation
You are part of God's family!
"For the body does not consist of one member but of many." 1 Corinthians 12:14
Are you feeling Isolated and Alone?
You may be continuously surrounded by groups of people --- friends or loved ones --- yet you are feeling entirely alone. Maybe you are alone, with no one around you that you can truly turn to. God wants you to know that He has called you to a bigger surrounding --- a Godly family that He predestined for you since the beginning!
You were created for relationship. That is the main reason why God created Man, so that you and I could remain in close, intimate relationship with our Creator. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Word says that you have been adopted into sonship (Ephesians 1:5). You have been invited and welcomed into God's family. He is your Father and other believers are your brothers and sisters. You are not alone!
Learning to Live in Godly Community
You were never meant to walk this Christian life alone. God has created a supernatural family through Christ to help strengthen you and encourage you daily.
This is why it is important to try to plug into a close, Bible-based church community. We need to surround ourselves with Christ-minded believers who can serve as encouragers and accountability partners as you walk with the Lord.
For some, it can be hard to build community. Maybe you are not used to being a part of groups, or you have been hurt by groups in the past. Holy Spirit will heal you and help you. He will bring just the right people around you if you let Him. Ask Holy Spirit to show you the people you need in your life during the season you are in.
